Biden Muppet Lies about the Border Collapse

The result is a new record in the numbers of invaders arrested at the border, 7,000 in one day, and that is not counting gotaways.

U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 7,000 migrants who illegally crossed into the United States on Tuesday, more than double the average of daily crossings compared to early June after the expiration of Title 42.

Sources told Fox News that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Tucson Sector caught more than 2,200 migrants alone. Fox News Digital has reached out to the agency.

Tuesday’s numbers came weeks after the Biden administration praised its “comprehensive plan” to manage the border after the expiration of Title 42, which allowed border officials to turn away migrants because of health concerns.

The temporary decline in numbers in June that the Biden Regime was touting is now history and numbers are heading up, likely to be closer to the 10,000 or more a day that was anticipated by most informed border watchers after the end of the use of Title 42 public health authority to expel all illegal entrants without proceedings.

The rapidly increasing zerg rush of invaders follows on a record number of illegal aliens arrested at the border in July.

President Joe Biden’s lax border policies welcomed roughly 250,000 more illegal migrants during July, bumping up the annual immigrant inflow to nearly one migrant for every American birth.

The record-breaking influx included 132,000 people who crossed the border to be registered and released, plus 51,000 migrants who were invited into border stations by the CBP One cellphone app, plus roughly 30,000 who were allowed to fly in from their home countries via the “parole pathway.”

The 250,000 estimate also includes roughly 50,000 so-called “gotaways” who sneak across the border while the border officers are processing the other migrants. These migrants are not deported unless they commit an obvious felony.

The Biden Regime is panicking, and is “asking” ICE SVU to ramp up deportations, with complete failure of ICE SVU to follow orders. Remember, this is the same Biden Regime that ordered an end to deportations as one of its first acts.

The U.S. has carried out fewer than 100 deportations under a program the Biden administration set up in May to deter unlawful entries by migrant families, a fraction of the tens of thousands of families processed by border agents during that time period, government data obtained by CBS News show.

The figures, which have not been previously reported, undercut the Biden administration’s intensifying efforts to showcase deportations of families through video releases and press statements and highlight the longstanding legal, humanitarian and operational challenges faced by the U.S. government when processing migrant parents and children.

But standing in the way of the sudden need of the Biden Regime for a minimal appearance of enforcement, the need for boob-bait-for-bubbas, it appears that ICE SVU took to heart the Biden Regime Administrative Amnesty and will be resisting any real or mere show of enforcement and deportations.

After ICE SVU was ordered to ramp up deportations, ICE SVU only put 150 invaders through the deportation process in a year.

Throughout the spring, White House officials pushed ICE for more deportations from a program called the “dedicated docket” that focuses on families, including many asylum seekers, who recently crossed the border, according to three sources with knowledge of the situation who were not authorized to comment publicly.

Launched by the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice in May 2021, the dedicated docket speeds up immigration cases from several years to about one year. Some within the administration saw it as a way to deter people from entering the U.S. by quickly executing deportation orders.

Since then, more than 60,000 immigrants have entered the expedited process, with about 11,000 receiving deportation orders, according to internal data obtained by The Times. Around 150 have been deported through July, the data show.

In a show of how much ICE SVU has adopted the open-borders mentality, it is resisting deporting any illegal aliens in fear of shameless baby waving.

A DHS document obtained by The Times noted the poor optics of arresting and forcibly removing families, explaining that it seemed to “conflict with the image of a new ICE” taking a holistic “approach to enforcement.”

“Picking up a kicking and screaming child while mom and/or dad are restrained and ushered to the transport vehicle will not improve public perception of ICE or views around immigration enforcement,” the document said.

DHS officials decided not to adopt more aggressive tactics. But some officials say the pressure from the White House remains.

“They want the deterrent factor. They want removals,” said an administration official who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

So, here we have it, ICE SVU is now so openly in support of open borders that they will not even deport a few illegal aliens just for show. The next President is going to have to fire a large number of ICE SVU agents, especially in leadership, perhaps such as David Marin.
