Tonight I face a typical dilemma. There are only FOUR tax-deductible giving days left in 2009. Our VDARE.COM fund-raising Appeal MUST get traction again after the Christmas lull. We have no financial reserves—unlike some of our colleagues. (In particular, those of you who have stock gains must act quickly to avoid capital gains tax by helping VDARE.COM at no cost to yourself—see note at bottom).

Our advisors insist that the only way to convey the urgency of the situation is to block off VDARE.COM with a fundraising appeal.

As a journalist, I hate blocking our site. But they do seem to be right.

However, tonight we have an urgent story by our Rob Sanchez about a law suit that tomorrow may succeed in suppressing a key blogger critic of the H1-B visa program. (At VDARE.COM, we help our allies). The H1-B program is a key part of the process by which immigration and outsourcing have dispossessed an entire generation of American programmers and engineers.
