Gutierrez

Gutierrez is not joking (H/T One Old Vet )

The abrasive arrogance and conceit which has long seemed standard for Hispanic Leaders had a classic display on Thursday: Gutierrez: I’ve got 40-50 GOP votes for immigration reform By Aaron Blake The Washington Post August 8 2013.

With astonishing obtuseness, Congressman Luis Gutierrez sacrificed the safety of his alleged allies to his wish to sound important.

Gutierrez said Republicans who support the idea are staying deliberately quiet to avoid a backlash from conservative activists.

“Some of them I’ve spoken to, and they say, ‘Love to do the activity with you, I want to be able to vote for it, I really don’t need to draw attention to myself at this point,’ but we can count on it,” Gutierrez said…

“If they asked me today, go find those 40 or 50 Republicans, I’d tell them I found them,” Gutierrez said. “I know where they’re at. They’re here. They’re present.”

“Conservative activists” about to try finding out if their GOP Congresscritter is one of these traitors should also consider who Gutierrez is.

In 2010 Peter Brimelow reported DREAM Act's Gutierrez: "I have only one loyalty"—and it's not to Americans

I have only one loyalty," he says, "and that's to the immigrant community."

In 2007 I observed him exulting in the damage done by illegals to the American worker: Hispanic Congressman boasts: Illegals undercut American wages.

The fact that Paul Ryan seems to have a thing for Gutierrez only further demonstrates what a Treason Lobby tool Ryan is.

No decent American politician should have anything to do with this enemy of the nation.

(And anyone who thinks One Old Vet’s cartoon above is overblown should remember that the 2013 Amnesty/Immigration Acceleration bill is likely to raise the population by as many as 57 million in 20 years, probably mostly Hispanic.)
