I assume the Palestinian woman in this story is not some kind of organized terrorist, but just a normal Palestinian immigrant who hates America and Americans, thinks terrorism is cool, and has assimilated enough to Western culture to consume lots and lots of alcohol.

However, the DOJ press release that the blog Israelly Cool is linking to, Woman Arrested for Assaulting a Federal Air Marshal [February 24, 2020] starts out:

A North Carolina woman made her initial appearance in federal court today on charges of allegedly assaulting a Federal Air Marshal.

I can only conclude that this is the result of the DOJ hiring graduates of journalism school to do its press releases. She says she's a Palestinian, they should say if she's  a Palestinian-American, or if not, what her citizenship was.

The press release goes on to say

According to court documents, at some point during the flight, flight attendants were alerted to the activation of a flight lavatory smoke detector, encountered Mustafa in the lavatory and directed her to not smoke aboard the aircraft and return to her seat. After flight attendants observed Mustafa crying and visibly upset, Mustafa stated that she was flying home [from Frankfurt, Germany] to see her family, but they had died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver.

After being relocated a second time, a Federal Air Marshal observed Mustafa leave her seat and walk to the rear of the plan while striking the flint of a lighter. As a flight attendant attempted to stop Mustafa from entering the lavatory, Mustafa pushed the flight attendant and tried to close the lavatory. At that time, two Federal Air Marshals interceded. Mustafa allegedly refused to comply and was combative, including resisting being handcuffed, yelling, and kicking at the Federal Air Marshals.

After being handcuffed and relocated next to a Federal Air Marshal, Mustafa stated that, “I’m going to stab everyone on this plane. Then kill myself. I’m Palestinian! That’s how we get down.”

Upon landing at Dulles International Airport, an FBI agent interviewed Mustafa about the incident, including her statement regarding her family being killed by a drunk driver. Mustafa allegedly admitted the story was a lie.

David Lange at Israelly Cool writes

Unfortunately, plane terrorism and then killing yourself has been associated with [P]alestinians, thanks to the actions of some of their terrorists. But so has concocting stories and lying, so in that regard she has a point.

Soon, drunken assaults on planes might be associated with them and their supporters too.

By the way, there’s an aspect of this story, not being reported elsewhere, which makes it even more disturbing.

The Five Fast Facts people at Heavy.com reached out to the school, which said that a Dana Mustafa worked at the school “several years ago.”

She probably is a native-born American citizen, but according to her LinkedIn page, she speaks some Arabic, and studied abroad at the University of Jordan, "Field Of Study Political Science: Concentration, Palestinian Israeli Conflict," which is to say learning to sympathize with terrorists.

Note that if an American were to say something like "I'm concerned that this woman is going to stab everyone on the plane, and then kill herself, because she's a Palestinian, and that's how they get down", that person would be a racist.
