Classic 21st Century America: on the same day we see Romney camp denies "Anglo-Saxon heritage" comment By Lucy Madison CBS News July 25 2012 and Obama seeks to energize black vote in New Orleans speech CNN Politics Wed July 25, 2012

The first story is an account of typically inept spluttering by the Romney Campaign over a classic MSM Mau Mauing stemming from a Daily Telegraph report Mitt Romney would restore 'Anglo-Saxon' relations between Britain and America By Jon Swaine 24 Jul 2012

…advisers told The Daily Telegraph that he would abandon Mr Obama’s “Left-wing” coolness towards London… one suggested that Mr Romney was better placed to understand the depth of ties between the two countries than Mr Obama, whose father was from Africa.

“We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he feels that the special relationship is special,” the adviser said of Mr Romney, adding: “The White House didn’t fully appreciate the shared history we have”....“Obama is a Left-winger," said another. "...he’s very comfortable with American decline and the traditional alliances don’t mean as much to him.

In fact of course, President Obama caused wide offence early in his Administration by his uncouth rudeness towards Britain as I discussed in Why Obama prefers Lincoln to Churchill.

What is wrong with Romney seeks Anglophile vote in U.K. visit?

What is wrong, of course in that the Obamacrats are consciously a Minority Occupation Government, and they are terrified that such an appeal (which is what they would do if Romney) might work. Hence CBS reported

David Axelrod, a top campaign adviser to the president, called the quotes "stunningly offensive" on Twitter.

To the people around Obama—and others—what is stunningly offensive is America and its history.
