As head of the Center For Immigration Studies, Mark Krikorian is one of the best-qualified people in America to teach civics classes for green card-holders, and that's something he's been doing, as a volunteer. Naturally, Catholic Charities "fired" him. Is the Washington Post blogger gloating about it here?

Mark Krikorian loses volunteer job with Catholic Charities after Washington Post story

Hours after the Washington Post profile of anti-immigration activist Mark Krikorian hit doorsteps Tuesday, he got fired — from a volunteer job.

Catholic Charities informed Krikorian that he can no longer teach its civics classes for green card-holders seeking to pass the citizenship test after he brought a Post reporter to his classroom last week without prior approval.[More]

Apparently, until the Washington Post did this hit piece on him, no one at Catholic Charities knew who he was.

Kathy Shaidle, who forwarded this to me, wrote on her blog that Krikorian is"well rid of them" "It’s their loss", and "Everybody with Google (or a brain) “knows where Mark Krikorian works.” [Once again: Professional Catholics display their craven cowardice, stupidity and left wing bias]

The original hit piece was called Mark Krikorian: The provocateur standing in the way of immigration reform, By Manuel Roig-Franzia, June 17, 2013.

Manuel Roig-Franzia, [Message him on Twitter] is another example of the kind of Hispanic talent that America is not getting from Mexico. He's from Spain.
