A few days ago, I got an email from a friend in the Main Stream Media a.k.a. MSM  (yeah, I still have them) warning me to stay out of the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman controversy. He said: "Both sides are spinning out of control."

Of course, by this he meant that the Left was spinning out of control: only the Left has access to the MSM.

Now They Have Come a.k.a. spun out of control For John Derbyshire—i,e, National Review Editor Rich Lowry has been terrorized into firing him.

This makes me think: did my MSM friend belong to some version of the notorious "Journolist" ListServe group?—which was in effect a conspiracy among Leftists to get Obama elected.

During the Obama coronation, one Spencer Ackerman told his fellow Journolistas:

What is necessary is to raise the cost on the right of going after the left. In other words, find a rightwinger’s [sic] and smash it through a plate-glass window. Take a snapshot of the bleeding mess and send it out in a Christmas card to let the right know that it needs to live in a state of constant fear.

There's obviously a Leftist three-line whip on the Trayvon Martin case. Otherwise professional token conservatives like Lowry and David Frum would not be toeing the line.
