CNN says

On November 14, 1986, Jacqueline Lard, 40, was last seen closing for the day at her realty office, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday in a news release. She never made it home.

The next morning, employees at neighboring businesses called the police after they discovered a “crime scene at the realty office which indicated a horrific struggle.” The following day, her body was discovered underneath a pile of discarded carpet in a wooded area in Woodbridge, about 30 miles southwest of Washington DC

The other killing he’s been charged with is this one:

Just a few years later in 1989, Amy Baker, 18, was visiting family in Falls Church when she went missing while driving back home to Stafford County, according to Fairfax County Police. On March 29, 1989, her unoccupied vehicle was found on the side of the road and was towed by police the following day, as it was presumed abandoned.

On March 31, her family searched the area where her vehicle was found and discovered her body in a wooded area near the exit ramp of Interstate 95 in Springfield, west of Alexandria.

Detectives investigated and determined “Baker’s car had run out of gas on the exit ramp,” Fairfax County Police said. “They believe she left her vehicle to seek help at the nearest gas station, encountering the suspect who subsequently fatally strangled her.”

A story in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star gives details of Elroy Harrison’s background:

Police recovered DNA and other evidence at the crime scenes, but DNA testing was in its infancy then. Harrison had not been convicted of a felony since 1983, when he was convicted of robbery in Alexandria. Unlike now, convicted felons were not then required to supply DNA to state and national data banks.

Stafford Detective D.K. Wood, who spent decades investigating the Lard case, eventually worked with a lab and discovered a family connection to the killer’s DNA. He later got a search warrant to obtain Harrison’s DNA and linked him to both slayings.

Court records show that Harrison’s criminal record also includes misdemeanor larceny convictions in Stafford in 1976 and Alexandria in 1977. He has had no arrests since his robbery convictions.

The records show that Harrison completed the ninth grade at the former Stafford Junior High and has lived alone at his current Stafford residence in the 2900 block of Richmond Highway (U.S. 1) for the past five years. He was never married, and the only relative listed in his pretrial services court report is a cousin with a Maryland phone number.

He qualified for a court-appointed attorney based on his unemployment status and his claimed assets totaling $1,500.

Stafford authorities have asked other law-enforcement agencies to review their cold cases to see if Harrison might be linked to any of them.

There are two themes we’ve been talking about for a while here: one is that the MSM deliberately conceals black murders, especially interracial murders, and the other is that there are a lot more black serial killers than you’ve been told about.

For the first, see The Fulford File: “Not Reporting Race”—MSM Promoting False Consciousness About Race And Crime, With Help From Cathy Young, Ms. Young being a libertarian Never Trumper who thinks we suffer from ”outright paranoia about cover-ups of crime’s racial angle.”

For the second, see The Fulford File | Grim Sleepers? MSM And Hollywood Shut Eyes To Black Serial Killers.

I don’t believe and the Virginia police also don’t believe that Elroy Harrison only raped and murdered two white women in the 80s and later. Maybe we’ll find out more. What I do know is that outside Dissident Right outlets like VDARE.com, you won’t see a headline that says Black Man Arrested For The Cold Case 1980s Murders Of Two White Women In Virginia.
