Mexican Subversion—in Minneapolis, Minnesota!
By
Juan Mann
As the tentacles of the
Mexican Consulate spread across America—bringing the
foreign
matricula consular identity document and with it
bank accounts and even driver’s licenses to thousands of
illegally-resettled Mexicans—the recent visit of Mexican
President Vicente Fox to Minneapolis, Minnesota, shows
just how blatant the subversion of U.S. immigration law
has become.
The complicity of big banking and
the Treason Lobby in
Mexican foreign policy goals is even more
outrageous.
The case study of Minneapolis—some
1,400 miles from Mexico—leaves no doubt of the concerted
effort to install as many Mexican illegal aliens as
possible in the United States…from sea to shining sea.
A VDARE.com reader has pointed out
to me two revealing regional newspaper articles that
unmasked the players in the Minneapolis matricula
plot.
The
Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune reports:
“Signaling the importance of the cash flow to his
nation, Fox has set aside as much as an hour in his
short visit today for a private meeting in the St. Paul
Radisson Riverfront hotel with top executives from
Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank,
Citibank and
Bank of America, according
to bank and city officials. The meeting is expected to
include discussions on ways to transfer money more
efficiently.” [“Cash
flow to Mexico is a focus for Fox,”
by Pat Doyle, Minneapolis-St. Paul (MN) Star Tribune,
June 18, 2004.]
The Faribault (MN) Daily News
offers the second piece of the puzzle:
“According to Kathryn Gilje, of Centro Campesino in
Owatonna, another important service offered in the [“advocacy”
group’s] Montgomery office this year comes
about because of the Mexican Consulate's visit to
Owatonna next month. Centro Campesino, along with Wells
Fargo Bank, are co-sponsoring the consulate's mobile
unit there from July 14-17.”
“Campesino
now open in Montgomery,”
by
Pauline
Schreiber, Faribault (MN) Daily News, June 19,
2004]
Our astute reader
comments via e-mail about matriculas in rural
Owatonna:
“This
is a little town in southern Minnesota! President Fox's
influence is everywhere, and our greedy corporations and
politicians are just bowing down to his every demand. He
has also demanded a new Mexican Consulate in St. Paul on
his June 18 visit which he's of course getting.”
Just think . . . a mobile
Mexican Consulate sponsored by Wells Fargo bank and
a Treason Lobby front group, bringing
unverifiable foreign identity documents to
illegal aliens in
Minnesota, so the bank can get more accounts.
Ain’t that America!
Unfortunately, news like this is
commonplace in the New America. You can find an entire
archive chock-full of similar reports in the
Sham Mexican ID section of Glenn Spencer’s
invaluable
American Patrol Report.
In keeping tabs on the spread of
the Mexican matricula, American Patrol also
reports as follows:
 | Pennsylvania, Delaware, North Carolina,
Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Idaho,
Washington, Oregon, Utah and New Mexico accept the phony
Mexican identification card for the issuance of driver's
licenses. [Illegal
Aliens Getting Consular ID Cards Hit Roadblocks,
by Tina Perez, Newsmax.com Latin American Report, June
17, 2003] |
 |
Also, according to the Federation for
American Immigration Reform (FAIR) , 14 states currently
allow illegal aliens to obtain driver's licenses:
Alaska, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada,
New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island,
Tennessee, Utah, Washington and West Virginia (this
as of September 12, 2003). |
So let’s take a little trip on the
Minneapolis matricula money trail with Centro
Campesino.
As an outpost of the Treason Lobby,
Centro Campesino of Owatonna has been
honored
as “a grass-roots, membership organization with 550
members” serving “the migrant
agricultural worker communities and year-round
Latino residents in South Central Minnesota” with a
stated purpose to “work together with the diverse
cultures of Southern Minnesota to better understand one
another and create a
multicultural community.”
Centro Campesino received funds
from the
Catholic Campaign for Human Development, which
announces
[PDF] that “[s]ince 2001 CCHD has awarded
annual organizing grants to Centro Campesino, enabling
its 800 members to receive training, leadership
development and organizing skills.”
Centro Campesino received
$10,000 in 2002 from the
Grotto Foundation.
Centro Campesino
picked a fight with a local Chiquita processing
plant on behalf of its workers sometime in 2001. This
“lucha” [Spanish for
fight] was quickly
picked up by the
League of Revolutionaries for a New America and its
“People’s
Tribune” (Tribunal del Pueblo) online
edition.
The League of Revolutionaries for a
New America wears its Marxism on its sleeve, of course,
describing its activities as follows:
“The mission of Rally, Comrades!
[the League’s website]
is to disseminate an objective estimate of the current
situation, the questions of the day and the developing
class struggle, and an understanding of the line of
march of the revolutionary process. It is a vehicle to
reach and communicate with other revolutionaries, to
engage them in debate and discussion, and to provide a
forum for that debate.”
So while Minnesota
Governor Tim Pawlenty
toasts with Vicente Fox, and the mega-banks vie for
new clients, the subversion of American sovereignty
rolls on.
So to answer the question
recently posed by D.A. King –
Can Banks Profiteer From Illegal Immigration with
Impunity?
–
The answer: you bet!
