Thank you so much for the email and the background of the EOIR.
I read every word of your memo. My experience is that people browse the Web, rarely taking the time to read anything thoroughly. Because your message is so important. I took the liberty of reformatting it. With your permission, I will feature this link on our Web page. If you wish, I will skip this and feature your link directly. I have a thick skin so either option is great.

Your website is going to blow the lid right off and expose our government's ridiculous refusal to do what 85% of American citizens have demanded, THE ENFORCEMENT OF OUR LAWS!
It's so simple to us but they can't see past the PCBS. Your efforts will shame them and force them to do the right thing!
I'd love to have you on the show, LIVE in studio (I'll buy you a beer after the show). Keep up the great work, we need you!

More Letters from Patriotic Americans:
Watch out for illegal alien women!
(Unfortunately now a five-part series of how "domestic violence" charges can be used by illegal aliens as both a weapon against Americans, and a path to a green card)
[NOTE: Under current immigration law, section 204(a)(1)(A)(iii) of the Immigration Act, an alien spouse who claims that the alien (meaning herself or himself) or the alien's child has been battered, or has been the subject of extreme cruelty perpetrated by the alien's spouse or intended spouse, the alien can get permanent resident status on his or her own, without needing a petition from the spouse. The USCIS publishes a "how to" guide for the self-petitioning spouse, raising the specter of a new breed of marriage fraud by false battery accusation.]Dear Sir,
I am hoping that you can help me by publicizing my story. Several people have suggested that I get this information in the mainstream news so that America will wake up and see what damage illegal immigrants are doing to our country. I am convinced that we have become a nation of fools, and that foreign-born people know this and use this knowledge to rip us off daily – both as a nation and as individuals. Our legislature appears to be broken, so I am hoping that the power of the press in responsible hands such as yours will heroically turn this country around – at least regarding the scam I am about to illuminate.
My story is about my wife, who has used immigration law, family law, and the Violence Against Women’s Act to destroy my career and all that I have spent 40 years working for. This scam happens to an estimated 15,000 American men each year, and our government and the courts are doing nothing to stop it, thereby throwing us men to the wolves and our US-born children into the garbage. Foreign women know it (check the internet for similar stories), and use us every chance they get.
Please read on:
I married my wife in January of 2001. Shortly before our marriage ceremony, she divulged to me that she was an illegal alien. This came as a surprise to me since she had been working in the US for the past 13 years. Although this news was disappointing, I went through with the marriage since I would be able to sponsor a green card for her as her husband. At the time, I lived in ABC and she lived in XYZ. Since she had a 16-year-old son finishing up high school in XYZ, I agreed to wait 18 months for my wife to move up to ABC to live with me.
Six months after our marriage, my wife was pregnant (I had her travel with me quite often). During and after the pregnancy, my wife regularly threatened to abduct our child if I didn’t agree with her on any decisions regarding our family. Additionally, she began to indicate that she wouldn’t move to ABC with me as she had promised. During this time, I also learned that her son in high school had been abducted from his father in 1989, and had not seen his father since that time. I knew then that my wife’s threats were serious.
Sure enough, three weeks before she was to move to ABC, she stormed out of our house in XYZ during a disagreement. Her last words were: “I have my baby – I don’t need you anymore!” At the time, my daughter was three months young. I immediately filed for divorce, putting a temporary restraining order on my wife to prevent her from removing my child from the X County, XYZ.
My wife continued to blackmail me with the child, indicating that I would not see my child again if I withdrew her green card application. I called her bluff and withdrew the application, trusting the INS to enforce the law.
The INS did nothing, despite hundreds of phone calls and dozens of letters that I sent. I finally contacted my Congressman and Senator to get the INS to investigate my wife and her background (more on this in a minute…). My wife is now in removal hearings, and I have collected three inches of evidence I have on her regarding the fact that she:
1) has what appears to be a phony Social Security Number
2) has used falsified documents to get employment and go to college
3) has collected unemployment benefits from the X Workforce Commission
4) has held a X driver’s license for the past six years
5) deliberately overstayed her visa
6) has harbored about a dozen other illegals in various houses
7) has apparently never filed a federal income tax return
8) has attempted in her second marriage to coerce her husband to get her a green card (fortunately for him, he didn’t get her pregnant)
9) lives in a 2500 square foot house with at least ten other people (mostly illegals), where there are bunk beds in almost every room, including the dining room
10) worked in a law firm for seven years where she learned how to use loopholes in immigration law and family law to extort, blackmail, and then destroy her US-born husband’s lives and careers if she didn’t get her way.
11) Is using her US-born daughter to get the INS to give her a green card, and to force very extensive child support payments from me ($1200 per month tax free, and my daughter is wearing hand-me-downs from my wife’s nieces!).
Despite all this, I cannot submit a single page of my evidence to the INS. Why? Because my wife has now filed a petition to get a green card based on a false allegation that I had abused her while we were married. The Violence Against Women’s Act (VAWA) assumes that I am guilty until I can prove myself innocent. Of course, there are no police or medical records indicating that I ever laid a hand on my wife, simply because I never did! Nevertheless, the VAWA laws now prohibit me from:
1) being in the courtroom when my wife is tried by the INS
2) finding out what her claim is as to why she can stay in the US
3) finding out anything about her case with the INS
4) finding out what claim she filed against me regarding spousal abuse
5) acting as a witness against her in the INS court
6) submitting any evidence to the INS court
7) defending myself against any claim she has made about me
The evidence that my wife can submit for this claim appears to be as flimsy as getting one of her sisters to write a note saying that I used to beat her up all the time! Her immigration attorney, by the way, was provided to my wife for free by the Catholic Charities Organization – a group to whom I donated $1000 to this year. My wife, by the way is no charity case. When I last checked, she had over $27,000 in the bank. I have no idea how she acquired that kind of money.
So here’s my wife’s situation: after contributing nothing to this country, and after lying to the federal government about leaving our borders in a timely fashion, and after abducting a child from a man who loved his son, and after destroying two American men with divorces and blackmail, and after lying to employers, schools, the X Workforce Commission, the X Division of Motor Vehicles, and after abducting a second child (US-born) to extort money and actions out of me, and after paying no taxes, she gets to live with her illegal ‘family’ (its actually more like a gang) with me making her "family’s" house payments, and providing her and her son with all the utilities and food they need, possibly for the next 18 years! By the way: my wife feels so comfortable about America now, that she’s decided not to work anymore. Instead, she’s enrolled as a full-time student at X College, where illegals are encouraged to apply. She and her illegal son have had it made ever since I signed up to be a sperm donor and a wallet!
My wife has learned that this is the land of opportunity, and is apparently spreading the word. Her sister is now trying to get her US husband to buy her a house before she will divorce him (I’ve never seen him or any of the original husbands that belonged to three of my wife’s sisters – only the children are ‘left behind’). I am sure that they are all high-fiving each other saying, “You got de money, you got de baby, and you don’ got to pay nobody nothin’, and that stupid fool can’t do nothing to you cause deze Americans are so-o-o-o stupid! Yeah! You de girl!” (Yes – I’ve heard them talk this way many times!) Meanwhile, my daughter sits in a filthy corner of the house, unaware that she is being robbed of her birthright as a US citizen, and is in danger at any time of being smuggled to a third-world country or to some ghetto in the US to live a fugitive life with my sociopathic wife.
Thank you for reading my story this far. There are even more details of this story that I left out to try to keep things brief. I am sending this story out to as many journalists as I can find so that we can turn this into a publishable story that will allow other men and women in my situation to band together in a unified voice to congress to help us, and hopefully to save other people from this awful fate. Also, together we might be able to figure out some solutions for each other.
I hurt very badly from this situation, and for the first time in my life, hate to wake up in the morning. I guess my mistake was to actually believe that I would succeed in this American society by working my tail off in engineering school and building a solid life so that I could be raped by some lowlife alien and the US courts.
Thank you for your help with this.
Sincerely,
Bill

The no-fault "green card" marriage
A second reader's story of domestic violence accusations as a ticket to permanent residence
Foreign wives are sending their American husbands to jail on phony domestic violence charges in order to get their US Citizenship. All an alien wife has to do is claim spousal abuse and she gets her green card! The form she needs to fill out is called the Form I-360. I have been a victim of this fraud. As many as 6,000 American men are falsely going to jail each year. The INS believes the number has increased dramatically this year.
This scam needs to be exposed. I haven't seen any stories on this. I have been trying to find and network with other victims. The problem is most men don't know what hit them and how to defend themselves. I have to go back to court on November 18, 2002, to try to get rid of a restraining order. This law is the greatest thing that happened to the police since the 55 mile an hour speed limit. It gives the chance to "rack up the arrests" to get promotions, etc. And it gives them the chance to meet beautiful women. Because once the husband is out of the way, you can be sure they will "hit on" the women.
Here is my story. This is an expose of immigration fraud in which foreign wives are sending their American husbands to jail in order to get U.S. citizenship. I am a victim of this fraud. The INS has confirmed this scam to me in other cases.
On May 10, 2002, my wife struck me twice in the nose and destroyed property. I did not hit or grab her. Instead I called the police in hopes they would send a social worker to mediate. Upon the police's arrival they immediately handcuffed me before asking questions. The officer said that he couldn't see any marks on my nose. He said my wife was accusing me of restraining her and her wrist was red. He asked me how her wrist got red and I told him I didn't know. Had he asked me which hand she hit me with or EXACTLY how she hit me, he would have realized that the marks on her wrist were from my nose. I was arrested and charged with spousal abuse.
In jail, I was subjected to many civil rights violations including cruel and unusual punishment. A week later I was in court for a restraining order against me. In court, I was to learn that I was accused with things that resembled attempted murder: strangulation, throwing my wife to the floor, attempting to shoot her and monthly beatings. None of this made sense to me since I never did any of this. I thought it had something to do with my wife's green card but I was not sure what. In addition, the arresting officer violated what is called "standards and procedures." When arrested, not only does an officer have to tell you what the charge is but he has to tell you the REASON. I was certainly not told any of THOSE reasons. My unprepardness resulted in a restraining order against me.
On July 3, 2002, I appeared before the city attorney much better prepared. I presented overwhelming evidence that my wife had committed fraud. I found out about a form called an I-360 in which an alien can get their citizenship with domestic abuse accusations. My wife is a very attractive model posing in lingerie and making public appearances representing a radio station. I brought in a year's worth of pictures showing her body is flawless and in no way she could have been battered and pose for pictures like that. I also presented family photos of her in skimpy bikinis.
I submitted other evidence such as her regular chiropractor who wrote a declaration that he never saw any signs of spousal abuse either physically or the way she acted. After reviewing the evidence, the city attorney decided not to press charges.
The INS is still evaluating my wife's I-360 form. If they turn her down, she will be deported. Essentially, the law tells alien spouses that you must go back to your country in the event of a divorce unless you can prove spousal abuse! Gee, that is like an open invitation for fraud!
My nightmare is still going on. I have to go back to court to try to get rid of the restraining order. Should the INS tell my wife that she needs a conviction against me, I fear she will attempt another false arrest.
I have strong evidence that the police report was falsified. A police sergeant told me to come in to pick up my police report. On June 26, 2002, I went in to pick up my police report. I was surrounded by the watch commander and several officers who threatened me to "never to show my face in there for anything related to this incident," and refused to give me the report. This is on tape.
There are many husbands who have gone to jail not knowing how to fight this. Luckily, my wife was posing for these pictures and saw a regular doctor. American men married to foreign wives need to be educated on this horrible law and how to protect and defend themselves.

Watch out for illegal alien women! -- Part III
First two "hit eerily close to home" -- American #3 calls his story "The Illegal Immigrant Predator"
I became intimately involved with woman from the Philippines 3-1/2 years ago. This woman led me to believe that she was here because she "wanted to start a new life." Unfortunately, I was naive. After announcing that she was pregnant, she advised me that she had entered the country illegally.
After the shock of being hit with this "double whammy" subsided, I tried to look at the situation in a reasonable manner. Obviously, I felt betrayed and was not going to compound the error by marrying this woman. Little did I realize that she had grabbed the brass ring. In the parlance of illegal immigrant women this meant the "anchor baby."
An attorney is now representing me in a custody battle for my daughter. The details are too numerous to list here. Suffice to say that I accept responsibility for the mistakes I made in getting involved with this immigrant felon.
What is shocking and disturbing is the response I received from the state and federal authorities to my plight.
A short time after announcing that she had entered the country illegally, I tried to contact the INS. Little did I realize that it is impossible to contact the INS unless you physically go to their offices. Thank God my brother is a law enforcement officer. He was able to navigate his way through the crowds and bureaucracy and was able to speak to an immigration officer at the INS office. Unfortunately, the officer did not hold out much hope for prosecution. He said that unless she was committing violent crimes or dealing drugs, there was no way she would be picked up.
She then began making threats that she wanted to send my daughter to the Philippines. In response, I filed a petition for full custody in the family court. Rather than appear in court, she agreed to a proposal I drafted that we share custody. I would hire a baby-sitter during the week and she could see the baby on the weekend. We signed the agreement and had it witnessed and notarized. The court issued an order reflecting the substance of our agreement.
Fast-forward nine months. One Saturday morning, two police officers appeared at my home to serve me with an order of protection and the mother's petition for full custody. Obviously, her fellow scam artists had coached her. They made her realize that she had nothing to fear in appearing in court as an illegal alien and making up false stories about me.
My downward spiral was only accelerating. I soon was in the grip of the parallel universe known as the family court system.
When we appeared in court for a protective order hearing, this person was asked what she did for a living and how much she made. Without checking anything, she was immediately given free legal counsel. While I was paying a small fortune in defending myself against false charges, the court was financing her criminal behavior.
The evidence to support this statement soon became clear. Because her charges were false, my attorney soon easily exposed her lies. Over the objections of her attorney, he got her to admit she had sworn a false instrument against me and that she had entered the country illegally.
The judge had little choice but to rescind the order of protection. My sense of vindication was short-lived. Just when I thought I would finally win justice based on the merits of my case, I felt the cold winds of political correctness blow into the courtroom.
Instead of the judge of reprimanding her for the indictable offense of swearing a false instrument as well as document fraud, she stated that she found this person's testimony "highly credible." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The judge shrugged off the case as a "custody matter" and asked for the inclusion of a law guardian and a forensic psychologist.
The "coup de grace" of the day was the court's response to our first awareness that this person had recently gotten married and that she was now entitled to conditional American citizenship.
[Editor's note: Depending on how she entered the country, if she married another American, she could file for adjustment of status to become a conditional permanent resident and start the petitioning process all over again.]My attorney protested the court continuing to pay her legal fees based on the inherent financial rewards of this new relationship. The judge would not hear it. Since the new husband was not part of the original dispute, the judge reasoned that this relationship had no bearing on the case.
Score: Criminal Alien - one; Taxpaying Law-abiding American citizen -- zero. I forgot I was in a parallel universe.
We recently finished our meetings with the forensic psychologist. Based on everything that has happened to me up to this point, I wasn't surprised that the psychologist could barely speak English and that he was rude and obnoxious. It soon became clear that he was going to be a shill for the court. When I suggested the possibility that this person exhibited a character flaw in entering the country illegally and that perhaps there might be a criminal reason why she couldn't get a visa in her own name, he dismissed it. As far as her original motivation to deport my daughter to the Philippines, this was also a non-issue in his eyes.
I paid this hack $3,000 to write a boilerplate politically correct report which reflects the cowardice of the court in addressing the best interests of my daughter. Now that the mother has scammed her way to obtaining an anchor baby and conditional citizenship (under highly suspicious circumstances), the court psychologist is ready to give his blessing to her phony desire to wanting to finally be a mother to her baby. He is prepared to testify at the next hearing that the mother should have primary custody. Of course, her fees were paid by the taxpayers of my state - parallel universe strikes again.
Forgotten in this entire fiasco is safety and stability of my daughter. The family court could care less about the stories of children being kidnapped by foreign-born parents. Every weekend when I relinquish control of my daughter, there is always this lingering doubt that it might be the last time I see her.
My attorney assures me that based on what she has gotten, she is not going anywhere.
Nevertheless, it is highly unnerving to enter a state court that due to political correctness ignores or refuses to address the enforcement of federal laws designed to protect American citizens. This is especially true post-9/11.
I later went back to the INS and provided a Special Agent with comprehensive documentation of this person's immigration crimes. I was assured that the matter would be followed.
To date, I have not even received an acknowledgment that they have the case. Last week I sent certified letters to INS District Director and my Congressman. I am currently awaiting their responses. Based on everything I have experienced, I'm not holding my breath. Going to the media is my last hope."

The feminine wiles of illegal aliens - Part IV
Hello, I am writing this in hopes you can steer me in the right direction. I have a very unique situation on my hands.
To make a very, very long story short, I am married to a Panamanian woman. I was unaware when we got married that she was here illegally. When I found out this information out (through her and her family) after we were married, I told her I want a divorce.
She and I no longer live together. Ever since then her and her family have threatened me, basically to ruin my life. They went and filed a restraining order against me and said I was abusing her. They also went to children and family services and said I was verbally abusing her son.
Imagine that . . . they are using my legal system against me!!! This was all to make me look bad in case I went through with the divorce so they could have something to give to INS to say "see this is why she is not with him" -- basically trying to blackmail me.
I need help. This woman and her family have really made my life miserable. I want to report her and the whole clan of them. They also tried to bribe me with money to stay with her so she can get her papers to stay in the country. All of this has been because they want her to be married to me so she can stay here. She is currently applying for her residency with the INS. Her sister that tried to bribe me just got her citizenship!!! What an idiot!!
I am at a total loss here.
Todd

Beware of Illegal alien women - Part V
Thank you Juan!!!
Your website is an incredible find. I too was falsely accused of verbal (unverifiable) abuse by my now "ex" just because she wanted a "green card".
She met a man from work and spent several nights at his home. When I finally was able to contact her at work to ask her what was going on, she told me to stop "harassing" her. So I thought that was that and decided to file for divorce. Even though I never contacted her after that telephone call, some man came to my home and served me with a "restraining order" claiming that I "verbally" abused her.
When I went to court on the restraining order, the bailiff told me to sign a document that I had no legal representation and neither had my wife. There were 23 cases that day and our case was the last of 23. The judge granted 22 out of the 23 cases that day, the only one not "approved" was a woman filing a restraining order on another woman. The restraining orders against men were all "granted".
When my case, the last one of the day, was called, I was surprised to see that I was alone, but my "ex" was surrounded by female attorneys. When I asked the "pro temp" judge about it, she told me these attorneys were merely "friends of the court". So, what was I, an enemy of the court?
They told her what to do, what to say and even where to look (don't look at him, look at me). Wow, talk about trying to "control" someone.
Anyway, after all the restraining order was granted. What a surprise. And on what basis?
No evidence
No doctors reports of abuse
No emergency room visits
No neighbors' testimony
No friends' testimony
No police reports
No nothing.I even told the judge that this person had "used" our marriage and now accused me of some kind of "abuse" to get a green card and that I was sure that she will take the restraining order directly to INS to obtain her permanent status. The judge, a female, granted the restraining order, so I complained to the INS and asked how to withdraw my "support" for immigrant documents. They asked me to come in and told me that my "ex" had come to them with the restraining order and that no matter what I do, she will not be deported. He said it was because their "hands are tied" because of protests from Pro-Immigrant political groups and that unless she commits a felony, it doesn't matter that she committed perjury in a US court of law.
Incredible; I plan to read through everything on your website and hopefully can post my story somewhere in order to let others know about what I went through. It is interesting to me to watch "legal" programs on TV now and to see that a wife or husband uses a "restraining order" to try to "prove" his or her case. When they do, I always say to myself that it carries no merit because it takes no evidence (at least in my case) to obtain a restraining order in the first place.
Many thanks again for your website!!!
Jonathan

No illegal aliens for oil!
It's my understanding that most, if not all, of the Mexican oil production is exported to the U.S.
As you know illegal immigration has occurred during administrations regardless of political party. Why is this? I believe a "secret" deal has been made at the highest levels of our government to maintain a southern porous border in consideration of oil for illegals.
I feel you may have the investigative zeal to determine if this premise has any credibility. If I'm correct and you're able to substantiate it, it would prove our nation's culture is being seriously manipulated by the U.S. oil interests.
Unsecured borders present a major threat to the security of the American people, as do the illegals already in this country.

Beware the cleaning crew
It is my position that one of the greatest risks to our country are "cleaning companies."
It has long been a practice of the CIA to infiltrate organizations by sending in servile level workers to innocently be the eyes and ears of the uppity up. In many countries, they are employed from the lower classes, to serve these positions.
Other countries aren't stupid. When we allow "cleaning companies" to operate in this capacity, without verification of the credentials of those working at the White House, Buckingham palace, NASA, GAO, the Senate office buildings, etc. We are only opening our society to easy access.
For this reason, it is my position that we must immediately curtail the use of cheap labor, as it is the entry level for strategically placed national and societal security concerns.

Who Owns the American Southwest? -- Legal Americans
Americans say it's theirs. Mexicans say it's theirs, and that's why they ignore what the United States says -- that crossing the border without papers is a crime.
They come here because of suggestions from Mexican political leaders, because of their own ideas and needs and because of family connections with relatives that already live here.
But in contrast, there are many activities that Gringos cannot get involved in in Mexico because IT IS NOT LEGAL FOR THEM TO DO SO. In other words, they do not have legal authorization from the Mexican Government to do those activities. Mexico has its laws that must be obeyed and the United States has its laws that must be obeyed and not simply ignored.
It's not fair or balanced that Mexicans would admit the necessity of obeying Mexican laws but not American laws. Every reasonable person has the mental capacity to understand that.
So if Mexicans think they don't need to observe American laws because in some way or another the border with the United States was established by force or by fraud, THEY SHOULD ASK THEMSELVES: TO WHOM DID THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST BELONG BEFORE THE 1846-1848 WAR WITH MEXICO? TO MEXICO OR THE UNITED STATES? Well Mexico said it was theirs. But it belonged neither to them nor to the Gringos, but rather it was the native land of the INDIANS or NATIVE AMERICANS that were here BEFORE the arrival of the English and the Spaniards.
Then following this train of thought, one can affirm that neither the Americans NOR the Mexicans had the right to take the lands of the New World away from the Indians and for that reason the argument over WHO WAS HERE FIRST is not valid and therefore does not authorize anyone to violate the laws of ANYONE, and does not justify the ongoing invasion of the United States by the great crowds of Spanish-speaking people from across the border, because we live here and you all live there and ENOUGH ALREADY!!
So back to the original question: Who Does the American Southwest really belong to? Well, to those people who want to live legally in peace and honesty with their neighbors and obey the laws that permit LEGAL immigration but not illegal.

Illegal Immigration = America's Achilles Heel
Thoughts from a cop tired of watching Americans die
Many more Americans have been murdered and victimized by criminals coming across our Mexican border as opposed to the Canadian border. As a cop for over 12 years in Arizona, I have seen the results of the wide open southern border. The research I have done on the southern border vulnerability will show you that the real threat to our security is far more intense from the south rather than the north.
Over one million illegal aliens are crossing into our country every year regardless of the INS.
Hundreds of thousands freely come through the border in so called remote areas as well as through the check points manned by the INS with the Border Patrol. It is even more remarkable to note that an almost equal number are released by police officers in the southwest because the police are being told that the INS has no one available to come pick them up and process them out.
Not all of these individuals are coming here to make a better life for themselves by actively participating in working and paying taxes like the rest of us. A large portion come and work under the table which also benefits the employer> But what makes matters worse is the criminal element that freely makes it into America and then operates openly in many states.
Currently it is costing us billions and costing us lives in both the law enforcement ranks and the civilian population. In other parts of the world when only a few thousand foreigners cross into the borders of another country, we have either refugees or invaders. When they cross the boarders of other countries and murder civilians or police it's considered an act of war. There are entire towns in several American states which are made up of either illegals or children born to them on our soil. Besides lives, this is costing the American taxpayer billions.
The social services of this country along with the legal system, emergency medical services, welfare and many other government services are being overheated to a point that is directly affecting the local, state and federal budgets. We have American citizens living in the streets while there are illegals living in city and state housing projects with relatives whose documents are questionable to say the least. The false documents that are everywhere are pretty darn good. Most of your police are not trained to see the difference between a real one and a counterfeit.
We have now in the United States criminal groups from outside of our country, selling babies, drugs, stolen property, guns and vehicles to citizens on both sides of the border. The Feds are so proud that they caught some Islamic cronies in Seattle. What about our unsecured southern border were tens of thousands are sneaking across every month? God knows what else has made it in undetected. Could it be that terrorist groups are having an easier time coming across our southern border?
Not so long ago, another deputy and I were sent on a call in the evening where we encountered three illegal aliens in the desert with three MAC-90 assault rifles.
After over two hours of phone calls to different agencies including the INS, I was told to "kick them loose" with the assault rifles because the guns did not show up as stolen, and INS had no one available to come get the illegals. Use your imagination. This is only the tip of the iceberg.
Routinely when police officers find a carload of illegals they are told to let them go. I arrested one on a warrant once and believe it or not, he had a parole officer! What is going on? There is no viable coordination between police and INS.
To make things even worse it seems that the politicians are unaware of how bad the situation really is, and afraid of being called "racist" if they do try to fix this massive problem. Look at the number of illegal aliens or children born to illegals that are involved in illegal activities -- drive by shootings, murder, drug sales, burglary rings, infant sales, DUI's, traffic accidents in which they have no insurance, gangs and other acts of crime. Then look at the numbers arrested and incarcerated to draw your own conclusion. Let's also think about the diseases which are brought into America unchecked.
I put to you that if we secure at least our southern border, with some of the troops we are using to secure other countries borders, we would see a drastic decrease in crime. Border crimes related to this criminal element are costing us lives and billions of tax dollars that could be used in social security, more law enforcement, research, defense spending, education, and many other social programs that were set up to help our citizens.
The cost to the private sector such as auto insurance, theft insurance and health insurance is just as staggering.
The INS claims to have approximately 8,500 officers working the southern border. If this is true then you could line them up hand in hand and take care of the problem. Here in Arizona we have had several police officers murdered recently as a direct result of an unsecured border. Do our leaders care? Only when it hits them at home!
For what ever reason people illegally sneak across our border into this country, they freely use our services which American taxpayers have paid for. They pay us back by causing crime, higher taxes, traffic accidents in which they rarely have insurance so our rates go up, crowded schools in rural areas as well as cities, and by being a large contributor to our drug problem. The list can go on and on.
Quite often when an illegal is arrested for a crime he or she has committed they get released by an IA judge before the INS is notified they were in custody. Often they have no ID on them so you really don't know the individual's real name.
There was an article in the Arizona Republic dated August 8, 1999, that stated the burglaries in the San Diego, California, area alone have reached approximately 7,000 per year. It went on to say it is so overwhelming that the San Diego Police Department wants to stop investigating burglaries altogether. Can you imagine what this is costing tax payers, insurance companies, and our way of life?
This same thing is happening in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and numerous other states of our country. In a town in Texas called El Cenizo, the town commission has called for the official language to be spanish because the majority of the 8,000 residents are either illegal aliens or children of illegals. Who is paying for this town's schools, medical, law enforcement, maintenance and other costs involved in operating a community?
According to a 1999 report from the White House, at least four major Mexican gangs have caused a surge in drug trafficking into the southwestern states. The mexican criminal element is operating practically undaunted by the current lack of concern over an unsecured southwest border.
When my grandparents came here from Europe they did not speak English and had large families. They worked very hard to raise law abiding, productive, tax paying families. They did not depend on social services to foot the bill. They learned the language of the new homeland and obeyed its laws. They did not scream "racism" because the government did not help them. They greatly contributed to their new home by working and fighting for America, not looking to grab from America.
If people come here for a chance to work and contribute, then let's help them by registering them and collecting taxes on their earnings. If they commit crime they should be deported.
Living in this country is a privilege not a right. Millions have given their lives to keep America secure and free. Why don't our leaders seem to care about the Americans that are dying?

Reinstate the Draft to Seal the Border!
Real Solutions From a Marine
The Border Defense Force
Protecting America's borders seems to be gaining more and more publicity in the last year since the terrorist attacks. Properly securing the borders can touch many areas of the federal government, some of which would take too long to explain at this time but include the restructuring of the departments responsible for immigration enforcement, restructuring the DoD, reviewing the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process, and the reduction of some overseas posts. Each of these areas should be thoroughly researched to identify how they can contribute to achieving the goal of securing our borders, in this paper I will focus on the creation of a Border Defense Force (BDF) and make brief comments about the other items. A Border Defense Force (BDF) should be created along the lines of the armed forces and be used to strictly patrol and secure the borders and coasts. The Border Defense Group (BDG) would be a section of the Homeland Security department and include the Coast Guard as a section of the BDG.
To make this force a reality in the shortest amount of time possible the following suggestions should be pursued: Reinstate the draft for all men and women ages 18-24. This draft would only be for service in the BDG and should have only minor exemptions for those that are unqualified and not include the possibility of a college deferment, in fact, make this service a pre-requisite to enter college and or receive any type of financial aid (school or student). All able bodied citizens that are needed in this category, approximately 25 million men and women, would be drafted for a maximum 2 year term and be stationed in their home state, if it is a border or coastal state. BDG members would not be eligible for any of the benefits offered to the current members of the armed services such as the Montgomery GI Bill, tuition assistance, signing bonuses, commissary/PX privileges, etc... Those benefits would only go to citizens who opt out of the draft and sign for a four-year term with one of the current branches of the military.
This program could be implemented in a six-month time frame if all of the inactive ready reserves from the military were immediately called up. The inactive ready reserves are those men and women who have left the service honorably prior to their eighth year, since all military members sign an initial eight-year agreement.
Once the draftees are trained and have served their 2-year term they would be included in the inactive reserves of the armed forces until the age of 35, thus providing a ready pool of trained citizens to call on in case of an emergency. I firmly believe that America would be better off if her citizens truly had to defend their own country. This program would return informed citizens to their community who would share a common experience and those citizens in the States not affected by immigration problems would gain a thorough understanding of the debate.
Now for the other items I introduced. When the Base Realignment and Closure program is reviewed, instead of closing all of the stateside bases some of them should be used for the BDF and as detention centers for illegal immigrants. This would alleviate the overcrowded detention centers and provide the BDF an already existing infrastructure from which to begin. The BRAC should then be used to review our overseas bases for closure, especially those in Europe, I think they are quite capable of defending their own countries, freeing up needed funds for the BDF. The restructuring of the DoD is a complete paper that will be dealt with as such, but I would recommend the consolidation of the services and the elimination of overlap within the services. I know that this is a touchy subject and being a former Marine I understand history, traditions, and esprit de corps, but times have changed and the nation must change.

A Press Release from Tombstone, Arizona -- 12/16/02
Dear friends south of the border of the United States of America,
Many of you are violating the southern United States land border with Mexico. There are ways in which you can enter the United States legally. We now must insist that you heed this warning to enter legally or be repelled by American citizens. We do not want to create trouble for anyone, nor do our countries need problems at a time when we are fighting terrorism.
If your country was attacked the way in which the United States was on September 11th, 2001, would you do anything different than protecting your borders? It is a fact that your country of Mexico has 20,000 plus troops protecting your southern border with Guatemala. We only want the same protection as you.
Our United States government has let us down; we the people of the United States have the Constitutional right to protect our own borders. We will stop anyone from entering in to this country in Arizona, until the President of the United States of America sends troops to do the job. At that time, we will go home, we will return to our normal lives.
You must understand the seriousness of our intentions:
We will defend our borders to deter entry other than legally into this country.
We will protect the sovereignty of our borders; we are not out to "get" anyone. Our intention is to force the United States Government to protect our borders, all of them. When the government responds we will go home.
Please go through the proper channels of immigration to enter our country. If you do not do it legally we will do what is necessary to defend our borders.
Trespassers are not welcome.
Please remember that on the 120 ft. right of way that separates our border, we the people have absolute authority to repel trespassers; we have more authority and freedom than the Border Patrol, Customs, INS, and yes, even the United States military.
We respect your need for jobs; come here legally and we welcome you.
We do not respect criminals nor drug dealers, you are not welcome.
It is as simple as that. We are not racists; we respect human rights. We respect your laws and rules of entry.
You must respect our laws and rules of entry.
We hope you do not challenge the American citizens on this matter. Again, our goals are to: Protect United States Borders, North and South.
We will deter and prohibit illegal entry into the United States.
We will force the U.S. Government to Protect U.S. Borders.
We will be relieved of duty and go home.
Thank you for listening.
