A New Jersey Reader Says Put All Politicians On the 3:10 To Yuma

From: Janice Martorano (e-mail her)

Re: Joe Guzzardi’s Column: Put George Bush On The 3:10 To Yuma

Unfortunately, most members of the Democratic and Republican parties should join Bush on the 3:10 to Yuma train.

Two prominent examples are Illinois Senator Dick Durbin who slipped the Dream Act into an appropriations bill. Durbin tried his best to be coy.

Luckily for us he failed and the Dream Act is dead---at least for now. [Student Illegals Bill Dropped, by Stephen Dinan, Washington Times, September 27, 2007]

The second passenger should be Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton, who is in bed with the Bombay-based Tata Consultancy Services America that promised to bring jobs to Buffalo.

Tata kept its promise—but the jobs were filled with Indian nationals. The irony is that the pandering done by politicians to save their lucrative careers will soon force them out of office as the immigration numbers increase.

When an ethnic group becomes a majority it votes for its ombudsman.
