A Los Angeles Reader Reports That English Isn’t Required for Jury Duty

From: [Name Withheld]

The following statement, slightly paraphrased, is included in the current County of Los Angeles printed out jury information booklet when someone is sent a Subpoena for jury duty:

“Q: Do I need to speak English?"

“A: No, you do not need to speak English. You will be part of a group, and others can help you, and all people of different backgrounds and languages have something to contribute."

Our criminal justice system has been compromised.

VDARE.COM note: When you consider the number of trials that occur in Los Angeles County involving Hispanics, the fact that fluent English is not required to serve on a jury in indeed frightening.
