11/25/09 - A WA State Reader Invites A Taiwanese Visitor To Thanksgiving Dinner

From:  Jack Stephens (e-mail him)

Re: Today's Letter: A Washington State Medical Professional Is Forced Out Of Her House Because of Her Bad Mexican Neighbors

Our neighborhood in North Texas has changed quickly for the worse. What was once a quiet community is now overwhelmed with Hispanics of questionable repute.

I never imagined that I would live in a Hispanic state within the United States' borders.

Like letter writer Abigail Smith, I too have friends who are Hispanic, some who agree with me on immigration issues.

I feel for Smith since living among illegal aliens must be especially difficult for women. Most low grade criminals are cowardly and target those who cannot defend themselves.

The truth is most of the illegal aliens come to the United States for easy money rather than to do "the jobs Americans won't do."

The aliens can't aspire to work in the skilled trades since most can't read, write or do math.

Stephens studied Latin American history at Temple University. He speaks Spanish fluently.
