Re: Brenda Walker's Column: Diversity Is Strength! It's Also Cruelty To Animals

Walker should not be so ignorant.

Not only are North Americans are just as cruel to animals as Mexicans; they kill thousands of persons worldwide every year in various wars to stimulate its economy.

According to PETA, the U.S. annually euthanizes 4 to 6 million dogs and cats because there aren't enough loving homes for them.

And in the U.S., most farm animals are inhumanely killed to provide Americans with the food they consume.

Not all Mexicans enjoy bull and cockfights—just like not all Americans want to go hunting or sport fishing.

Just for the record, I'm glad the losers who killed a horse got their sentence.
