Why is it that illegals aliens get completely free health care at emergency rooms or hospital clinics?

They can't be too poor to pay a minimum $10 per office visit, like HMO patients with a co-pay, or $50 per emergency visit that is also standard for HMOs.

I often see aliens spend at least that much for cigarettes beer and potato chips, three items not covered by their food stamp coupons.

If illegal immigrants get a completely free ride, then unemployed Americans should get one too.
