Amidst all the clamor about a possible Spring amnesty effort by Senator Chuck Schumer and U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez, patriotic immigration reform scored a major triumph in New Jersey last month

There will be no in-state tuition for illegal aliens here despite efforts of former Governor Jon Corzine (D) to make it happen. Proponents did not have enough votes to carry the measure.

New Jersey is broke. Any proposal to grant in-state tuition to the children of illegal alien law breakers is absurd.

Aliens are not entitled to the same benefits as citizens.
