When I heard that my Senator Mel Martinez, architect of S-2611 that called for amnesty for all illegal aliens, will chair the Republican National Committee, I could only think one thing.

Was Martinez's insulting appointment intended to short circuit any Republican leader considering running for president on the platform of enforcing immigration laws and securing the border?
