Help VDARE.COM! We're Not In Kansas Anymore…But Illegal Aliens Are!

Remember when illegal immigration was LA's problem? Or New York's?

Personally, I prefer my small-town-country-life to the watch-your-back-because-non-gender-specific-sub-human-creatures-run-this-town atmosphere known as Hollywood.

Yeah, and (no offense New Yorkers) but a cab ride in your town is like a tie-breaking challenge on Fear Factor…only your roaches are bigger.

And that's just Manhattan…

So basically, I didn't pay much attention as millions of illegal aliens poured into either city. because I avoided them like the plague anyway…but times have changed.

How wide-spread is this problem? Illegal aliens are now as likely to reside in Small Town, USA, as they would Big City, Nightmareland.

And—so much for them congregating in border towns—illegal aliens have grown in numbers so much they have no choice but to re-locate far into the interior of America.

The immigrant rallies of the past couple of weeks paint a daunting picture where the landscape of America is concerned. 

Forget California and New York! How about…

Kansas!!  There were illegal aliens marching in Kansas!!

I'm going to double-check, but that could be one of the Seven Signs…

BB Side note: 

Once-upon-a-time, a group of people marching through the streets of Kentucky or Mississippi flying a Mexican flag (or any foreign flag for that matter) would probably have been shot.

Not for the fact they appeared to be foreign insurgents, it would have been just on general principles…ahh, the good old days.

In any event, all the MSM can talk about is the hundreds of thousands of people who participated in these national rallies. 

They offer up these statistics as though they mean something—as though we all should somehow be awed by the crowd.

First things first, when has truth ever been decided by force of numbers?

Secondly, once you subtract the students, the children, the criminals and of course, the illegal aliens by my approximation there are maybe ten legal voters among the lot.

As my sister Jen says "Yeah…emphasis on the legal voters part, m'kay?"

THAT BEING SAID…

The fact remains that these protesters are well-organized and well-funded!!

If we are to stand any chance of winning this war, we must be equally well-funded and organized…in fact, we need to be better.

We have to fight back now.

We have to fight back hard.

We have to show the world that our laws were paid for in blood, etched in stone and not subject to the approval of foreign lawbreakers.

Of course, we can mimic our illustrious Congress and do nothing.

Well that's not entirely accurate…to say they have done nothing.

Many of them have apologized to the illegal alien community for taking so long to grant them amnesty.

Another option would be to elect a new Congress…one that actually works for the United States would be a nice change.

Or…

We can keep the heat on all our elected officials—we can demand their attention, by voicing our own demands.

Trust me, the immigrant protesters may number in the hundreds of thousands but we number in the millions.

Oh…and not that it matters but we're actually right.

Here's the bottom line:

VDARE.COM is high up the intellectual food chain. We develop ideas. Then our ideas pass into the public debate.

Much of the "public debate" involves the MSM using our information for their headlines…without credit of course…but we're ok with that.

Whatever gets the job done.

There are other worthy immigration reform operations—we link to them all the time—but no-one quite does what we do.

For example, we posted live updates throughout the Senate hearings—something nobody else was doing.  When Congress comes back from vacation, we'll resume our coverage.

Most people work and can't tune in the C-SPAN throughout the day…and why would they want to anyway? (For the most part, the coverage consists of a lot of dead time also known as Quorum Calls…dull, dull, and dull.)

But this is why we do it…

Thanks so much for keeping us office drones informed regarding the immigration capitulation, er, I mean debate that continues in the Senate. Keep up the great work. VDARE is essential daily reading!

There were many of these emails but I had to use this one because of the Marine Corps lingo…I'm a softie for military men, what can I say?

[Peter Brimelow note: I told to get Bryanna to mention a few of her own victories this year but, exhibiting her natural modesty, and even more natural orneriness, she refused.  

No matter, I will do it for her:

1.  VDARE.COM was first to highlight the town of Maywood, California.  In the course of thirty short years, this little town went from a veritable All-American city to a sanctuary city for immigrants.

The population is now 97 percent Hispanic and the City Council will not allow local law enforcement to address the rampant illegal immigration problem.

After Bryanna's column, everybody was talking about Maywood.

2. Just last week, Bryanna posted an update about Francisco Serrano—the illegal alien who was caught living in a high school in Minnesota.

An immigration court ordered Serrano deported two years ago, but it seems he did not leave.  Although many sobbing residents accompanied Serrano to the airport and shouted accusations of an unfair immigration system, the immigration poster child decided to stay illegally in the U.S. 

When he was arrested two weeks ago for residential burglary (and attacking the occupant with a knife) the MSM which was so quick to protest his deportation was remarkably quiet.

CNN didn't report it until days after Bryanna did.]

We can do this, friends.  We can fix this problem. We can restore America to greatness. We can make a difference.

Excuse me for being a cad but I just finished doing my taxes and 2005 is now officially the year in which I made the least amount of money throughout my career.
