The federal immigration court in Boston has allowed Aunt Zeituni Onyango to stay in the country at least until February 4, 2010, which is the date of her next hearing.

Nicole Salame, 19, was filling out an application to UCLA last year when she got to the question about race and ethnicity. She thought a mistake had been made.

"I read it five times and was like, where is Middle Eastern?" the freshman recently recalled. "Is it on the other page, did it get cut off? I thought they forgot."

Wachovia Forcing Employees to Train Indian Replacements

Wachovia joins the growing list of companies that pressure their American
employees to train their foreign replacements. A local TV station (WSOTV
Ch9 in Charlotte, North Carolina) did an excellent report on what is
happening at Wachovia. The television report can be viewed by going here.

In the report a Wachovia employee named "Jeff" who is training his H-1B
replacement is interviewed. This is a dynamite story but so far it hasn't
been picked up by any other news agencies.
