A Message From Peter Brimelow
Christmas is coming—which means there are now
only nine tax-deductible
giving days left in 2009.
At VDARE.COM, we get the great bulk of our donations from
readers at the Christmas season. And we need those donations,
desperately.
For the last couple of nights, I reduced our Christmas Appeal to
a simple link at the top of our home page.
We were running important stories and blogs that I wanted to get
readership.
And, frankly, I don’t like yelling all the time.
But exactly what our advisors predicted happened: donations
dried up. (With a couple of
noble exceptions—you know who you are, many thanks).
I desperately don’t want to block the site off tonight. Among
much else, we have Tom Piatak analyzing the latest fascinating
twist in the War Against Christmas: Christians Against
Christmas—with the support, of course, of the Main Stream Media,
which is making every effort to declare this embarrassing (to
America’s rulers) debate over.
But it won’t be able to while VDARE.COM is around. Any more than
it will be able to declare the immigration debate over. (It’s
tried!)
However, VDARE.COM will only be around
if you help now.
Everyone has a lot to do in the next few days. I know!—I have
teenage children and a young wife who need attention too.
But it’s ultimately for this next generation of Americans that
we’re doing this.
So scroll down and click through to tonight’s postings.
BUT PLEASE STOP AT THE DONATE LINK AND GIVE NOW.
While you can get a 2009 tax deduction.
While you still have
the freedom to support the patriotic cause.
I, and all of us at VDARE.COM, and I believe those future
generations of Americans, will be profoundly grateful.
Peter Brimelow
NOTE: VDARE.COM is no longer associated with the Center For American Unity, which plans to focus on litigation. We are grateful for their past help and wish them well in future. Our sponsor is now the VDARE Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity.
