I  haven't read Michael Savage's latest book, Trickle Up Poverty, but I just wanted to say something about the title, which is excellent.

Partly because of the welfare state, and partly because of crime, even if we can avoid poverty ourselves, the other people who are poor cost us money.

The presence in your community of people who pay less in taxes than they consume in taxpayer-funded services will cost you money on your tax bill.

Unless you actually are an employer of cheap labor, like a wealthy farmer or a contractor, immigration represents a loss to you, and that's "Trickle Up Poverty."
