As John Fund puts it at National Review, James O’Keefe Strikes Again October 22, 2014

Today

James O’Keefe, the guerilla filmmaker who brought down the ACORN voter-registration fraudsters in 2010 and forced the resignation of NPR executives is releasing some new undercover footage that raises disturbing questions about ballot integrity in Colorado…When he raised the issue of filling out some of the unused ballots that are mailed to every household in the state this month, he was told by Meredith Hicks, the director of Work for Progress, a liberal group funded by Democratic Super PACS.: “That is not even like lying or something, if someone throws out a ballot, like if you want to fill it out you should do it.”

O’Keefe has more

The video of O’Keefe’s encounters with other operatives is equally disturbing.  He has a conversation with Greenpeace employee Christina Topping, and suggests he might have access to unused ballots from people who have recently moved out of college fraternity houses. “I mean it is putting the votes to good use,” she responds. “So really, truly, like yeah, that is awesome.”

There have been other rumbles that Democrat vote fraud efforts are building: One Old Vet noted one in Arizona in This Is How Dems Expect to Win Mid-Term Elections yesterday.

Only extremely energetic exploitation of their control of the MSM Megaphone has enabled the Democrats to shout down appropriate voter fraud safeguards. Obviously, in unfree 21st Century America, when every simple transaction needs photo ID and a staggering proportion of their constituency is on welfare of one sort or another, Democrats have no objective reason to fear that legitimate voters of theirs will be excluded for lack of documentation. For that matter, the voters most likely to be able to prove their credentials are recently-naturalized immigrants who have just gone through that paperwork ordeal.

The Democrats intend to cheat. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz said as much last year as I noted in DNC Chairwoman: We Lost Colorado Gun Vote Because We Couldn't Cheat. They favor Voter Fraud Facilitation. That is why they react so hysterically when Voter ID is raised. Look at how many have invaded the NR comment thread today

The other reason the Democrats have been able to block reasonable measures is Hitler’s Revenge. The GOP Establishment is too cowardly to face the inevitable allegations of "racism." This unquestionably is why John Fund (who after all has a book on the subject) has been mainly silent on the issue lately, as I noted this January in NRO's John Fund Raises Voter Fraud Again: GOP Establishment Must Approve

Evidently, the GOP Establishment approves again: no doubt they are worried about the close races their pitiful candidates are running.

Voter fraud is easy to disguise especially if you control the precincts as, of course, particularly in minority districts, the Democrats do. But it is susceptible to broad statistical analysis of the type which revealed the stock option backdating scandals: I made this point in Cuccinelli v. McAuliffe: How Much Black Voter Fraud In Virginia?

With the Democrats on the defensive and under temptation, perhaps 2014 will be the year that the wisdom of one commenter on the NR thread finally takes root.

He pointed out that financial institutions do not wait to be hit with theft before they act energetically against fraud.
