Regarding freedom of speech, the issue of freedom for the speaker is much discussed. This focuses the issue on the rights of one or a few people. What is not discussed is the right to hear. If people do not have the right to hear the right to speak means nothing.

Hence class disruptions and the heckler's veto are an infringement of the rights of everyone who wants the right to hear.
