Re: James Kirkpatrick's article Jeb Bush’s Greatest Liability (Aside From His Immigration Enthusiasm) May Be His Wife

I don't usually attend CPAC but this year stuck my toe in the water. While the ringmasters might want to shy away from it,  attendees in the straw poll mostly favored enforcing immigration laws, with most of those going for expulsion. Little wonder Jeb Pander Bush was booed.

Senator Sessions made an appearance but did not speak, however  he was surrounded by supporters. Any time I spoke to an attendee on immigration the view was tighten or close the border.

Some Americans are waking up, as evidenced by the closing panel rounding up the event placing immigration as one of the top three issues in the next presidential campaign. And why not? Immigration has its social and economic consequences with reduced American employment and increased welfare costs and the danger from imported terrorists has already proven itself.

I don't put much into the CPAC Straw Poll, but was delighted to see Pander Bush come in a very dead last.
