11/22/09 - A New Jersey Reader Calls An Alabama Teacher A "Sad Sack"; Joe Guzzardi Defends Him

From:  Ken Record (e-mail him)

Re: Joe Guzzardi's Column: Accentuate The Positive, Eliminate The Negative! Reid, Amnesty Won't Make It

Guzzardi wrote that illegal alien-loving Senator Harry Reid may resort to using ads taped on his behalf by his deceased colleague, Ted Kennedy.

Apparently, we have that nauseating prospect to look forward to.

In the meantime, the increasingly desperate Reid is running 30 second spots in which a little old lady tell us about how "Pinky," as he was once known, missed the bus one freezing winter day and hitchhiked 40 miles to school in Henderson. [Is Senator Harry Reid in Trouble in 2010, by Guy Farmer, Nevada Appeal, November 22, 2009]

This ploy is unlikely to generate much sympathy for Reid since he is very far to the left of his constituency.

Record's previous letters about the Anti-Defamation League, Ted Kennedy's lack of national influence and MADD are here, here and here.
