I'd like to point out that I had an article about Mexican voter ID way back in 2003. It was entitled Why is Mexico's Voter Registration System Better Than Ours? A few months ago I had another one, entitled Photo ID for Voters - How Come It's OK for Mexico?

This past Christmas vacation, on our most recent visit to Mexico, my wife received her new Mexican voter registration card. This one is good until 2021. Meanwhile, in the U.S., it's a struggle to enact a photo ID requirement for voters!

The USA Today article states that

"National IDs for voting, or proving citizenship, is an idea that is being floated in the United States to crack down on voter fraud, illegal immigration and foreign terrorists."

However, I don't favor a national voting ID, I think that ought to be handled at the state level. I just think the states should be allowed to have photo ID, as they have in Mexico. The Obama administration, of course, doesn't want that. Hmm, why could that be?

Anyway, I'd like to point out that in 2012, USA Today has published an article on a topic that VDARE.COM covered way back in 2003. It's another reason what we're doing here is important. So give money to VDARE.COM today!
