So I just read Peter Brimelow's blog entry from earlier this morning about U.S. officials ratting out the Minutemen to the Mexican government and it must be said:

These U.S. "officials" are the stupidest life forms on the planet (including fungus, Paris Hilton and grass) and my anger is only tempered by the fact that the initial shock has yet to wear off.

Funny enough, this is the second time today that I have seriously considered building a large, underground shelter in my backyard in preparation for the foreign invasion and takeover that is undoubtedly imminent. Yeah...because we're stupid and practically begging for it!

As evidenced by...

This morning when I was skimming the news I came across a story about a Chinese man who had purchased a MIG-21 Fighter Jet on...wait for it...EBAY!

Uh-huh...our communist "friend" bought it on EBAY.

[Man buys fighter jet, wants refund 5/9/06 Reuters]

Apparently the jet was owned by a Chech national but housed in Idaho or one of those middle states which always seem quiet and innocent until they pop out a Ted Kaczynski. In any event, shipping proved problematic and the Chinese man is now seeking a refund.

There may be an issue of fair business practices or truth in advertising...something like that...but so what???

People can buy fighter jets on EBAY!! Sure, the MIG 21 is an old machine with relatively limited weapons capability but it's still a war plane!!

Great...America will be invaded by communists using machines they acquired through an American company—I suppose it wouldn't be the first time but come on!

As frustrated as I was to hear this news, the U.S. government selling out our Minutemen took things to a whole new level for me—and I'm not alone! VDARE.com readers have flooded our email accounts today expressing their outrage and contempt at this latest government offense.

So what's going on?

When an illegal alien is apprehended, they have the right to seek counsel in the event that they were mistreated in some way—especially when they are apprehended by volunteer organizations such as the Minutemen.

The Mexican government claims the right to question any and all volunteer personnel involved in border apprehensions.

Apparently—and this part still confuses me a bit—the U.S. government decided that it was best to just provide the Mexican government with the exact location of all volunteer patrol groups along the border. Normally this information would be handed out on a need to know basis—after an actual complaint had been filed by a Mexican national.

The bottom line is this: Our government passing on this information impedes the efforts of the Minutemen and more to the point, it endangers their lives.

"Now we know why it seemed like Mexican officials knew where we were all the time," said Chris Simcox, founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. "It's unbelievable that our own government agency is sending intelligence to another country. They are sending intelligence to a nation where corruption runs rampant, and that could be getting into the hands of criminal cartels.

Unbelieveable. Despicable. Disgraceful.

Yeah...I have to get back to work on my underground shelter—it seems I will likely need it sooner that I thought.
