Readers of my TakiMag column today will have become acquainted (if they weren't already) with a new book that has a rather striking title.

Well, great minds think alike.  So it seems, anyway: blogger Thomas O. Meehan posted this modest proposal with date stamp March 6, too early to have seen my column.  Or perhaps he's in a different time zone ... or he could be another Literary Review subscriber ... or possibly I'm not keeping up with the Zeitgeist as well as I fondly imagine.
