Yes, the "Rally For Sanity" is just as white as the Tea Party, although with different whites. Keith Olbermann thinks that the absence of blacks and Hispanics at the Tea Party means that there's something wrong with the Tea Party, although what it really suggests is a lack of civic engagement and patriotism on the part of minorities.

Here's a brief excerpt from an Olbermann rant on the whiteness of a Tea Party crowd, which he has repeatedly called the Tea Klux Klan.

”[H]ow many black faces do you see at these events? How many Hispanics, Asians, gays? Where are these people? Surely there must be blacks who think they”re being bled by taxation? Surely there must be Hispanics who think the government should have let the auto industry fail? Surely there must be people of all colors and creeds who believe in cultural literacy tests and speaking English? "

Answer: only a few. But I repeat, it's not the Tea Party's fault if minorities can't be bothered to show up. As for Stewart/Colbert, well, The Daily Show/Colbert Report together make up #35 on the list of Stuff White People Like. That list also includes Religions their parents don’t belong to, Barack Obama,Having Black Friends, Black Music that Black People Don’t Listen to Anymore and Bob Marley.

But apparently this fascination is not reciprocated by minorities.
