NumbersUSA has just released its Presidential candidate grading for Texas Governor Rick Perry, off of whom a lot of parasitical campaign consultants are planning to make a lot of money: D- This will be no surprise to readers of VDARE.com, especially after Perry’s craven failure to get anti-illegal immigration legislation passed in the Texas legislature’s recent special session.

I suppose it’s possible that Perry might have a Huckabee-style Born-Again campaign trail experience. But more probably Michael Brendan Dougherty’s comparison to an earlier consultant’s candidate will be proved prescient: Is Rick Perry the new Fred Thompson? , PBS.org, July 27, 2011
