Samir Khan is one of the many young Muslim men who have experienced life in the United States, but responded to the call of his Islamic roots and now works full time for jihad. Somehow the appeal of American freedoms didn’t work for him.

Khan should be a lesson for the cheerful kumbaya types who think assimilation just happens, even among Sons of Allah. But the apparent acculturation can often be just skin deep, like Minnesota Somali Shirwa Ahmed who left a seemingly well adjusted life in Minneapolis to become a suicide bomber.

Similarly, Khan put aside his American cultural layer to pursue Islamic goals. He is happy to be a traitor, which demonstrates once again the foolishness of continuing Muslim immigration in this country.

New Qaeda Mag Features “Proud” U.S. Traitor, Fox News, October 11, 2010

The group behind the failed Christmas Day bombing has released the second installment of its new English-language magazine, Inspire, featuring a North Carolina man who says he is “proud to be a traitor to America.”

“I am a traitor to America because my religion requires me to be one,” writes 24-year-old Samir Khan, a U.S. citizen now believed to be in Yemen. “We pledge to wage jihad for the rest of our lives until either we implant Islam all over the world or meet our Lord as bearers of Islam.”

Khan’s piece strongly criticizes the United States for “kill[ing] millions of Muslims around the world” and “get[ting] away with it wearing a tuxedo.” It also describes how he become a devout Muslim and “could no longer reside in America as a compliant citizen.”

After the first edition of Inspire was released in July, U.S. officials told Fox News that Khan was likely a key player behind the magazine, with his old website and blog’s graphics bearing a strong resemblance to the graphics found in the magazine.

America has killed “millions” of Muslims around the world? Where do these jihadists get their statistics?

Samir came to public attention a couple years ago for his jihadist website targeted for a western audience that he produced while living in North Carolina with his parents, noted in the video below.. Now he has gone big time in Yemen in connection with another former resident of America, Anwar Awlaki.
