As VDARE.com  has noted noted numerous times here before, the left never worries when nonwhites are chosen, or desire to be chosen to play fictional roles of obviously white characters, including the Italians in “The Godfather.”

Now, The Daily Caller reports, “The Greatest American Hero,” a white male, will be recast with an “Indian-American”:

The ‘80s superhero comedy, “The Greatest American Hero,” is being revived with an Indian-American woman as its lead. The half-hour sitcom will see her replacing the original lead — an average white man.

The reboot is being written and produced by Rachna Fruchbom, who co-produced “Fresh off the Boat” and some wrote some episodes of “Parks and Recreation.” Tawnia McKiernan is set to direct.

According to Deadline on September 8, the show is in development at ABC and 20^th Century Fox, the half-hour sitcom will star a new protagonist, Meera, who’s described as a “30-year-old Indian-American woman from Cleveland, whose talents include tequila drinking and karaoke and not much else.”

I’m wondering when a black man will be cast as Simon Legree, or better yet, when we can reverse the race of the characters in John Grisham’s first novel, “A Time To Kill,” — given rape statistics — the story of a black man who kills the white rednecks who raped his daughter.

Then again, doing this last would merely tell the truth. The real rape that inspired Grisham’s tale was black-on-white ... again, as one would expect from actual rape stats.
