Today’s example that demographic change can be cruel is the situation of Serbs in Kosovo, who are being chased off their land by the increased numbers of Albanian Muslims.

In 1998, Albanians made up 66 percent of Kosovo’s population. Now they number 92 percent. Albanian families have from four to 10 children, making it one of the fastest-growing populations in Europe.

Thousands of Serbs have left, because life is becoming more dangerous for them.
