I see that Jonah Goldberg has come out in favor of not stabbing other conservatives in the back.

"Liberals never see the antics of their more flamboyant celebrities as an indictment of liberalism itself. Perhaps its time conservatives adopted a more liberal standard."

Of course, this is the same Jonah Goldberg who wrote Ideologues Have Hijacked an Important Debate, [Los Angeles Times, February 24, 2002] in which he attacked Pat Buchanan, Sam Francis, Peter Brimelow and VDARE.com by name. And he spent years working for Buckley's National Review, which still considers its proudest achievement "cleaning up" the conservative movement, so I don't know how sincere this new attitude is. Just be aware that it is a new attitude.
