But then it turned out that this wasn’t a genius business strategy like everybody had assumed: this year Teen Vogue announced it was halting its print edition.
Now we learn the identity of the sexy young fashion icon who will be the Guest Editor of what may well be the last print issue of Teen Vogue.

Hillary Clinton guest-edited one of the last print editions of Teen Vogue, which is set to debut in December, the former Democratic presidential nominee and the magazine announced Wednesday.
“Teen Vogue takes teen girls seriously and understands that style and substance aren’t mutually exclusive,” Clinton said in a statement released by the Vogue sister publication on the anniversary of her electoral loss to President Donald Trump.
Clinton will also serve as a keynote speaker at the Teen Vogue Summit, the first of its kind, in Los Angeles on Dec. 1-2.
The issue, set to hit newsstands on Dec. 5, “is a celebration of resistance and resilience,” Clinton wrote Wednesday, and will feature personal contributions from the former secretary of state, including an essay addressed to her adolescent self.
“Believe in yourself. You’re going to do great,” Clinton wrote in a letter to herself, according to an excerpt released by the magazine Wednesday.
Teen Vogue’s parent company Condé Nast announced last week that the magazine would be terminating its print edition, cutting nearly 80 jobs, making Clinton one of the last to serve as its guest editor.
The publication, which saw something of a political resurgence by leaning into the heated climate surrounding Clinton’s bout with Trump last year, will continue to have an online presence. Its final print edition date has not yet been announced.
