Ferguson, Missouri, has changed in 50 years.  My husband grew up very near there in Florissant. It was a peaceful, white neighborhood. My sister taught at North Florissant High.

White officer shoots young, black man and the facts seem to be: Michael Brown committed battery on a peace officer who then shot him during a scuffle in the squad car.

Not a good idea to assault  a peace officer. .. and, robbing and looting stores ensued to cope with the grief about a  white officer "killing" a black youth.
