03/20/11 - An Irish-American Reader Says Fulford's St. Patrick's Day Column Was "Uncharacteristically" Off The Mark; He Replies

Re: Steve Sailer's article The NCLB Fiasco After Ten Years: What Were Bush And Kennedy Thinking?

From: Dave Shanken [email him]

What were these two political professionals thinking? They were thinking about winning the next election. Better schooling has been a political ploy for the last 60 years. The children these two care about attend non-public schools, where the discipline and instruction are excellent. Additional educated employees for U.S. businesses  will be provided by immigration or outsourcing. End of discussion!
