On Sunday, I was astonished to see that the Seattle Times actually ran a story on H-1B visas and their effects on American tech workers. By 8 a.m. Monday, PDT, 211 comments were posted. Commenters were lucid and ticked off about immigrant visas and they are really ticked off at Microsoft.

Here is the story: Do visas for skilled foreigners shut out U.S. tech workers? By Kyung M. Song and Janet I. Tu, Seattle Times, May 4, 2013 (253 Comments)

On Monday, the Times had a story about the spouses of Hl-B visa workers who cannot work. Comments are overwhelmingly not supportive. "So, go home." [ H-1B visas good for skilled foreign workers, not so good for the accompanying spouses, by Lynne K. Varner, May 5, 2013]

I plan to call my senators and ask staff to read the articles and comments.

Linda Thom, who has written many articles for VDARE.com, moved from California to an island in Puget Sound where the residents mow their own lawns.
