Re: Athena Kerry's Blog: Mexichurian Candidate v. Texas (and America)

I heard Mr. Ertman, the father of one of Medellin's victims, on the Laura Ingraham Show this morning. He said that Jose Medellin came to this country, illegally, when he was 3-months old.

What does that say about "assimilation" when a man who grew up in the U.S. argues that not having the input of the Mexican Consulate was a fatal legal error?

Also, I was born and raised in Texas. I don't remember knowing any Medellins. That doesn't sound like a Mexican name to me.

How do we know that Medellin is really from Mexico?
