The Derb commented upon some posters Audacious Epigone noticed at his local Walgreens.

Taken from too far away and observation's blasé but as I walked the dog tonight I did a census on the posters lining the outside of the Walgreens down the road from home:

4 black women
2 black men
2 white women
1 asian woman
1 hispanic woman
0 white men

City is 80% n-H white btw

This image I photographed myself is of a Hallmark Card Mother’s Day Ad at my local Walgreens. 

Note that I print my own cards now; search for Vintage Mothers Day Cards, for example, and nice images for old greeting cards will come up.

This may be done by the corporations themselves, or it may be the fault of a few ad agencies, in any case it’s propaganda.
