In response to the question asked in the recent letter, I offer the attached cartoon from Look Magazine's September 1968 issue.  If you can reprint it in VDARE that would be great as the answer to the (now rhetorical) question one of the characters poses is all too well and sadly known.
"Let's try bringing in some slaves. What harm can it do?"
James Fulford writes: 1619 was the first year blacks were imported into North America, and 1968 was the year of the riots.
