In case you missed, here's the NYT's report on the scandal of Homeland Security officials taking bribes:

The Enemy Within: Bribes Bore a Hole in the U.S. Border By Ron Nixon, December 28, 2016.

And check this out:

Homeland Security Bribe Documents

A review by The New York Times of thousands of court records and internal agency documents showed that over the last 10 years more than 200 employees of the Department of Homeland Security have taken nearly $15 million in bribes while being paid to protect the nation’s borders and enforce immigration laws. Here are some of cases we have highlighted from that investigation. December 28, 2016

Looks like NYT can still do a decent job once in a while

Happy New Year!

James Fulford writes: The NYT still has world-class staff, a lot of money—thanks to Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, and a tradition of excellence. The only problem is that they've made themselves deliberately blind, deaf, and dumb on racial issues.

Every single one of the bribe-takers listed was either Asian (Joohoon David Lee) Hispanic (Guadalupe Garza), or, believe it or not, both: Ivhan Herrera-Chiang, pictured right. The NYT has no comment.

We notice these things here—I first noticed them in 2006 with this post: The WALL STREET JOURNAL & Border Patrol Corruption and again in 2010.

Maybe instead of hiring people with relatives in the illegal alien community, they should go back to hiring white  Anglo-Saxon Protestants in cowboy hats like they used to.
