A big story breaking right now is Rep. Don Young being killed in the Main Stream Media over his use of the word “Wetb*ck.”
“My father had a ranch. We used to hire 50 or 60 wetbacks and — to pick tomatoes,” Young said in the interview with KRBD. “You know, it takes two people to pick the same tomatoes now. It’s all done by machine.”

I think this is a wonderful opportunity for some pushback.
I left the message below on over thirty news forums or comment sections. A lot of them got held even though I did not spell out the offending word, which is on the list of words that commenting software won’t accept. (Maybe I should have not mentioned VDARE.com!)
Anyway, please remind your readers about Operation Wetb*ck and encourage people to pushback on this issue.
We should not use slurs, but if we give up the linguistic territory without getting any recognition of how enforcement of immigration laws actually once upon a time caused successful self-deportation, then we should give up now and open up taco stands.
Here is the message I have been leaving on comment sections:
If a group thinks a word is a slur, and there is no good reason to use it, then people should refrain.
It is amusing though to see how we have changed. In 1954 President Eisenhower began a program called `Operation Wetb*ck" to enforce immigration and end the illegal immigration problem. His operation made perhaps millions of illegals self deport and illegal crossings on the border dropped 95%. Very few Americans remember this and the media almost never mentions it.
Of course it can cost an American his job in today’s world if he even uses the word wetb*ck, and to encourage the idea of immigration law enforcement and self-deportation, which is the only thing ever proven to stem the flow of immigration, is tantamount to committing a hate crime.
This will not end well.
