The course of action for the parents of the five students sent home on Cinco de Mayo for wearing tee-shirts with the American flag is clear: sue the Santa Cruz county district immediately! The chances are excellent that the school district will quickly settle out of court. Take it from someone who is on the inside—nothing terrifies school bureaucrats more than the thought of law suits based on diversity conflicts.
