Having attended public outreach briefings at the DHS public meeting room in Washington, DC between 2007-2012, these two reports are consistent with my overall perception that the DHS is doing a very poor job protecting the employment rights of American citizens—and is needlessly endangering Americans by allowing illegal aliens ordered deported to remain in the U.S. and improperly obtain benefits.  [Review finds some aliens get benefits [4], By Stephen Dinan, The Washington Times, December 18, 2012 ]

The Obama administration has already started promoting  the eventual granting of  citizenship to a large population of illegal aliens. While this may be a mechanism to boost the number of registered Democrat party voters, I think the Obama administration proposal should be soundly rejected.
