My elderly parents and I just returned from the Trappist Monastery at the Genesee Abbey, in Upstate New York. Their breads are popular up here, and monastery is a beautiful place.
They have a store where they sell books and the foods they make, especially their breads . Lo and behold, what are the good monks selling? It’s Holiday Bread!
The wrapping is green, white and red, with their Trappist monk logo. It is labeled as a "Special Bread for Special Times". There is a cross on the label.
