The South Korean pop singer Psy, whose "Gangnam Style" video was this year's pop sensation, is in hot water [1] for having sung rabidly anti-American lyrics in the past.
Some years ago I wrote a piece on anti-Americanism [2] for The New Criterion. Researching for the piece, I turned up a study by a couple of Boston University academics. They surveyed teenagers in twelve countries, and found that South Koreans were at or near the top of the list in anti-Americanism.
I can't find the study on the internet, only references to it, e.g. note number three here [3].
