While the article is, no doubt, theoretically correct, there is no doubt that the neoconservatives who control the Republican party would move heaven and earth to prevent Kris Kobach [3]or Lou Barletta [4] from ever getting the nomination.
James Fulford [5] writes: The reader has a point, in that it wasn't only her Democratic opponents [6]who went crazy [7]when Sarah Palin [8] was nominated [9], it was a lot of weak-sister Republicans, whether you call them neocons, RINOS, or metrocons [10].
I suggest that by 2016, the GOP may be starting to get desperate.
