The Rasmussen daily tracking poll (which now included “Leaners”) has Obama 50% Romney 47%: since this was last disclosed Obama has gained a point.

The crucial racial breakdown shows Romney static at 57% of Whites: Obama has picked up 2 points to 40%. Obama has also increased his share of the Black vote, by a point to 97%.

The Real Clear Politics average is Obama 49.1% Romney 45.6%. No other polling organization have supplied their racial breakdowns – although they all have to have them to construct meaningful polls.

Romney’s campaign needs help. As James Fulford pointed out on Friday, even George Bush got 58% of the White vote in 2004.
