Rasmussen’s Daily tracking poll published today shows: Obama 47% Romney 46% (yesterday was 50%/47%).

While Romney’s 57% White share is static Obama is reported (behind a pay firewall) to have lost a point to 39%. (Credit due to Rush Limbaugh?). Whites of course are more than 3 times as important as Non-whites in Presidential polls.

Gallup on the other hand has weighed in today with Obama 50% Romney 44% (Last 49%/45%). Gallup chooses not to disclose its racial breakdown.

The Real Clear Politics average is Obama 49% Romney 45.7% (yesterday 49.1%/ 45.6%). Gallup is the outlier.
